Mittlerweile ist across seit einiger Zeit in der Version 5 auf dem Markt. Die Entwickler waren seit dem fleißig und haben bislang mindestens 320 Bugs gefixed und an gut 80 Stellen nachgebessert. Praktisch jeden Monat schiebt across ein Patch-Paket nach.
